HMS Victory was a 104-gun first rate ship of the line belonging to the Royal Navy, laid down in 1759 and launched in 1765. Victory held the distinction of being Lord Nelson's flagship at the battle of Trafalgar.

As a first rate warship, Victory carried a formidable complement of cannons of various calibre, across at least 3 gun decks and displaced 3500 tons; a respectable size of a 1st rate vessel in the Royal Navy for the time.
